As an educator of all ages, Rose grounds her teaching in empathy, creativity, compassion, and empowerment. She is honored to lead and learn alongside young musicians, nurturing a deeper understanding of sound, silence, and listening.

Rose Martin is a great teacher for me, as an adult learner. In a single lesson she’ll both break things down to the very basics as well as build up my stylistic toolbox with advanced techniques. I can see improvement in my musicianship. Not only has she taught me how to play percussion instruments, she’s taught me to analyze compositions and even a touch of modern percussion history. Rose is the most gracious teacher and would give you the shirt off her back. Would recommend.
